La Prairie has long defined the pinnacle of luxury skincare, and Skin Caviar sits at the center of that world—innovation, indulgence, and ritual. The brand’s visuals are consistently refined, and sometimes playful, but there was room to introduce a fresh perspective without shifting the identity. The goal wasn’t to reinvent the aesthetic. It was to reimagine the sensorial richness of Skin Caviar through modern visual storytelling that still felt unmistakably La Prairie.

Strategy

We started with one question: what does indulgence look like in motion? Skin Caviar already communicates luxury through material and finish, but we wanted to express it through ceremony—the way luxury is experienced, not just displayed. That led us to an unexpected but on-brand setting: a high-end dining table, where every detail signals rarity, control, and pleasure.

During research we found a 1986 La Prairie campaign built around classical art references. That became a conceptual anchor. It reminded us that the brand has always been comfortable borrowing from culture—fine art, sculpture, timeless objects—so long as the treatment stays elegant. The strategy became a bridge: take a timeless reference, then place it inside a modern, sensorial world.

The centerpiece is a 3D film set at a luxurious table, but the “feast” is skincare. Skin Caviar products take the place of food, and the silver application tools become the cutlery—turning the routine into ritual. Moody lighting and soft reflections make the table feel tactile and rare, like an abstract symbol of indulgence rather than a literal scene. The motion is controlled and slow, so everything reads as considered, not trendy.

To extend the world, we created still-life compositions that echo the 1986 campaign language. Classical sculptures sit alongside La Prairie’s sleek packaging, creating a quiet contrast: old-world form meets modern precision. Together, the film and stills present indulgence as a luxury language—ceremony, art, materials—so the product story goes beyond ingredients and stays grounded in brand DNA.

This project shows how skincare storytelling can expand without losing restraint. By borrowing from other luxury worlds—fine art, dining, ritual—we made Skin Caviar feel even more sensorial and elevated, while keeping the brand codes intact. It’s not a new identity. It’s a new angle on the same one.
